Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Home Renovator to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of residential and commercial renovation, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from minor repairs to major remodels, contributing to transforming spaces and enhancing property value. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall work
- Conduct concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as required for various projects
- Execute plumbing and electrical installations or repairs following industry standards and codes
- Apply caulking and painting techniques to complete interior and exterior finishes
- Manage restoration projects including drywall repair, surface preparation, and surface finishing
- Estimate project materials and labor requirements accurately using construction estimating skills
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards throughout each phase of renovation projects
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial construction or renovation projects
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery
- Knowledge of carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting techniques
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, restoration work, cabinet installation, and drywall repair is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
