The Chef de Partie plays a key role in the back of house team and is accountable for the overall success of their station. Acting as a role model, alongside the Sous Chef, this individual is responsible for guiding and developing cooks new to their station. An experienced culinary talent, the CDP thoroughly understands the workings of their station, how it interacts with other stations and what is required for its’ success. The CDP prepares high-quality, delicious food made in a thoughtful, consistent, and timely manner. The individual in this position thrives on surpassing guest expectations and providing an incredible culinary experience.
Compensation for this role of $23.50/hour, includes a base wage of $20/hour, plus direct tips from guests that have been estimated at an additional $3.50/hour. Tip amounts are paid directly by guests and are shown based on historical averages. They will vary depending on factors such as guest volume, and seasonality. While tips are not guaranteed, they have consistently contributed to overall earnings in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Play an important role in kitchen operations and preparation
- Act as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviours; embody a great culture, and have a high-level engagement
- Ensure proper temperatures are used consistently through proper plating, timing, storage, and preparation
- Follow Chef’s lead to accommodate special requests, dietary restrictions and/or allergies of guests understanding the importance of adhering to established guidelines
- Always act with integrity and honesty, take responsibility for decisions and actions
- Demonstrate a commitment to further develop skills and knowledge and initiate action to accomplish goals
