Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across all areas, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a background in commercial cleaning. The Sanitation Supervisor will play a vital role in creating a safe, clean, and efficient environment for staff and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities performed by Sanitation staff
- Develop and implement sanitation procedures to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use
- Monitor cleanliness of all facility areas, including Trim Building , Harvest Floor and Fabrication Floor.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels
- Enforce safety policies and promote a culture of cleanliness and safety among staff
- Report on sanitation activities, issues, and improvements to management
- Assist with hands-on cleaning tasks as needed to support team efficiency
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is required; supervisory experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in commercial settings
