We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of windows across commercial and residential properties. This role requires physical stamina, excellent attention to detail, and strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and uphold our company's high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities
- Clean windows on various building types using hand tools, squeegees, and power tools as needed
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to window cleaning, including removing dirt, grime, and streaks for a spotless finish
- Use appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment to ensure high-quality results
- Safely operate heavy lifting equipment when necessary to access high or hard-to-reach windows
- Maintain safety protocols during all cleaning activities, including the use of personal protective equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements and address any concerns
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled cleaning tasks within designated timeframes
- Assist with custodial duties and general facility upkeep as required
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services preferred
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
