Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Resort Cleaning & Housekeeping Associate to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our luxurious resort. This role is essential in providing guests with a pristine environment, ensuring their stay is comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and experience in hospitality or custodial services. Prior hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, public areas, and amenities according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies to ensure rooms are guest-ready
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed
- Ensure all assigned areas meet the resort’s quality standards for cleanliness and presentation
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures (industrial cleaning experience is a plus)
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated schedules
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service
- Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion at all times
