Part-Time French Teacher

As a tutor, teacher and mentor at Scholars Education Centre, you will be responsible for providing superior individualized academic support to our students. You are joining a dynamic team that will work with you to make sure that you make a difference in lives of each and every student you have the opportunity to work with.
Essential Job Functions
- Instruct students on an as-needed basis
- Report student progress
- Prepare teaching materials, when applicable
- Attend training workshops
- Complete administrative tasks
- Achieve Real Life Results for each student! Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student’s individual Goal Sheet – our guideline and benchmark to providing individual success for each student we work with!
Requirements
- Ontario certified teacher (flexible at the Centre Director's discretion)
- Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided
- Vulnerable Sector Checks to be completed if not done recently
- Able to work both as a part of a team and independently
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment
- Excellent organizational skills
