Job description
We are looking for an individual with extensive carpentry experience in residential renovations to join our team!
BMR Group Construction Ltd is a high-end residential renovation and custom home builder in the Hamilton and Burlington area. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is creative, has attention to detail, who can follow instructions and is able to think outside-of-the-box, and is solution oriented.
Working with us will expose you to all aspects of residential construction and offer ample opportunities to refine your skills in many areas.
Under the direction of the General Contractor and the Construction Site Supervisor , you will be assisting with tasks including but not limited to: measuring, cutting and shaping lumber, wood and other building materials such as roofing framers, joists, partitions, rafters and stud work; adding fittings and fixtures including door handles, hinges, locks and closures; erecting temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists; repairing unsound existing framework; examining building materials to identify any defects; constructing wooden concrete forms; maintaining a safe and clean job site; discussing course of action on all scopes of work with Site Supervisor and/or General Manager prior to starting task; completing your hours log with task descriptions at the end of each working day.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Minimum 5 years construction experience
Valid G-license and personal vehicle
