We're looking for a Purchaser to join our Calgary Procurement team.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll support multiple PTW divisions across Western Canada making sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time to keep projects moving.
You won't just be processing POs.You'll be directly influencing project success through smart sourcing, strong vendor management, and proactive problem-solving.
In this role, you will:

Take ownership of sourcing and securing critical electrical materials and services that keep projects moving in the field

Turn supplier quotes into confident purchasing decisions that balance cost, quality, and tight timelines

Drive the full PO lifecycle from requisition through to delivery ensuring accuracy, speed, and accountability

Act as a key link between procurement and project teams, aligning materials with real-time construction demands

Build and actively manage supplier relationships that improve pricing, reliability, and performance over time

Anticipate supply issues early and take action to prevent delays before they impact site operations

Expedite orders and keep vendors accountable to project schedules

Support negotiations on pricing and terms for a range of industrial and construction projects

Maintain accurate procurement data, reporting, and KPI tracking

Identify opportunities to improve sourcing, purchasing, and delivery processes across the business

5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement (industrial or wholesale environment preferred)

Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain fundamentals

Experience in construction, electrical, or industrial environments is a strong asset

ERP system experience is considered an asset

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Excellent communication and vendor relationship skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented, accountable, and solutions-focused mindset

SCMP designation or procurement-related education is an asset

Must have reliable transportation
