Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Underground Utility Locator and Land Surveyor to join our team. This role involves accurately locating underground utilities and conducting land surveys to support construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
- Locate underground utilities using specialized equipment and techniques to prevent damage during excavation or construction activities.
- Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, topographical features, and site layouts with high accuracy.
- Perform electrical work involving low voltage systems as needed for utility detection and site setup.
- Maintain detailed records of survey data, utility locations, and project progress in compliance with safety standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in utility locating or land surveying is preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and welding techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to accurately locate utilities and perform precise land surveys. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of working safely in diverse environments while delivering accurate results that support vital infrastructure projects.
Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
