Position Overview
As a Seasonal Retail Associate at one of our retail locations, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and efficient shopping experience for students and families during our busiest season. Working alongside store leadership and fellow team members, you will assist customers, maintain store organization, replenish inventory, and support daily store operations.
This is a fast-paced, team-oriented retail role that is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, staying busy, and contributing to a supportive workplace environment.
Seasonal Scheduling
This position offers:
- Full-time hours available in June, August, and September
- Part-time hours in July due to seasonal scheduling shifts
We are also offering staff incentives for team members who remain actively employed and available through the first two weeks of September, our peak back-to-school season.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers with questions, sizing, and purchases
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor
- Process customer transactions accurately using the cash register/POS system
- Assist with inventory replenishment and product organization
- Support visual merchandising and presentation standards
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as directed by management
- Support promotional initiatives and contribute to a strong customer experience during peak retail periods
- Complete additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Store Manager
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
- Previous retail or apparel experience is an asset, but not required
- Interest in customer service and helping families have a smooth shopping experience
