Job Overview
Meadowlands Horticultural Inc., 7385 Meadow Ave, Burnaby, BC., has full-time Greenhouse Worker positions available starting this coming January for approximately 6 months. You must enjoy working outdoors and have your own proper rain gear, rubber boots and gloves. Our business is weather dependent so you must be able to work weekends and late shifts on short notice. The position involves constant standing or walking, lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional kneeling and/or squatting. Duties include filling trays with soil, planting, watering, picking orders (from ground onto wagons), pushing and pulling wagons, loading and unloading trucks, operating farm equipment, and general clean up and maintenance of work areas. There is no minimum education required however, you must have at least 1 year of agricultural experience. Location of work: South Burnaby, BC.
