Economy Paving Ltd is currently hiring experienced Concrete Form Setters to join our growing construction team in Calgary and surrounding areas.
We are looking for motivated individuals with experience in commercial, municipal, and civil concrete projects who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Set and align concrete forms for sidewalks, curbs, gutters, ramps, slabs, and pads
- Read grades, elevations, and site plans
- Measure, layout, and ensure proper form alignment
- Install stakes, pins, and bracing systems
- Assist with concrete placement and finishing when required
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous concrete form setting experience required
- Experience with municipal or commercial concrete projects considered an asset
- Ability to read grades and use measuring tools
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and outdoor work
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license considered an asset
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
