Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Status: Contract - 2-3 months for the summer, 3-4 days/week

Our client is a Montreal-based fashion & apparel company. With over 30 years in business, they are a leader in retail across Quebec.
They are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a contractual basis. This is 2-3 month contract to assist the team through the summer months. It can be a part time position, with 3-4 days of work per week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform three-way matching (Purchase Order, Bill of Lading, and Invoice) for invoices related to received inventory.
- Manage prepayments and reconcile them with invoices once received.
- Record invoices paid by credit card and follow up with managers to obtain supporting invoices.
- Document procedures for the different types of accounts payable (inventory, services, employee expenses, and intercompany transactions).
- Perform any other related duties to support the Finance department.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with accounting software (Business Central is preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear communication skills
