Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile <PERSON> to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in carpentry, project management, and general contracting. Foreman and leadership experience is an asset. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction in the residential and agricultural sectors, to interior and exterior home renovations, all start to finish. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working with various tools to efficiently deliver high-quality results.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to execute projects accurately
- Install cabinets, flooring, siding, and roofing with precision and attention to detail
- Operate hand tools, power tools, man lifts, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct Trimming, caulking, drywalling, and other finishing tasks
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards
- Contribute to construction estimating processes by providing accurate assessments of materials and labor needs
- Support general handyman tasks including assembly, woodworking, and miscellaneous repairs as needed
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and project timelines
- Work effectively with other team members to complete tasks
- Work with and/or lead crews on job sites
Experience
- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, or siding installation
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is prefered
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of restoration/renovation projects is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
