Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in our hotel or facility. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces are spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a positive experience for guests and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Prior experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion while interacting with guests
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as assigned
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Good communication skills to understand instructions and report issues effectively
- Ability to handle industrial cleaning tasks when required
- Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning environments, including hotel rooms or large facilities
