We are seeking an entry level IT Support Associate to join our dynamic team and continue to grow the IT department at ServcoCanada Inc. The position is demanding but rewarding and under the general supervision of the IT Manager.
As a valued member of the team, your core responsibilities will include:
- First level of support to ServcoCanada employees
- Reproduce, diagnose, and resolve technical problems encountered by users
- Communicate using phone, email, chat, and in-person with users, providing technical support for our users either remotely or in the office.
- Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
- Document the support provided using the helpdesk software
- Escalate unresolved incidents to the appropriate Tier II support group or as defined by the process
- Other duties as assigned.
The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:
· Must be a Canadian citizen.
· Must live in Winnipeg, Manitoba or surrounding area.
· Must have own transportation to work.
· The ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, changing environment.
· Demonstrated systematic, analytical approach to problem solving.
· Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
· Experience in a help desk environment.
· Verbal communication skills, particularly in relaying instructions via telephone with the ability to listen to concerns and present technical solutions in business and user-friendly language.

Pay: $42,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
