Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Liquor Store Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. You will play a key role in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience in our retail environment.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including handling cash and credit payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
- Stay informed about promotions, new products, and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or retail is preferred but not required.
- Should have Serve it Right Certificate
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and store displays effectively.
- Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical sales experience is beneficial for assisting customers with specialized products.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
