Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Guest Service Agent to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. This role is vital in maintaining high standards of customer service and hospitality, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and reputation of our establishment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional front desk service during check-in and check-out processes
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently
- Assist guests with their needs, including providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary to ensure resolution
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved promptly
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to guest services and safety protocols
- Support other front desk functions as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, capable of handling multi-line phone systems effectively
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred, especially within hotel environments
- Knowledge of guest services best practices and hospitality standards
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
