We’ve built a solid, reliable asset-based operation at ACB Cartage Inc. with a fleet of 60 trucks running out of Mississauga. The infrastructure is there, the operations desk is dialed in, and the capacity is ready. Now, we need the commercial leader to help us fill it.
We are looking for a Director of Sales (Transportation & Logistics) based at our Mississauga headquarters.
To be direct: we aren't looking for someone to spend the first six months doing cold outreach or building a pipeline from scratch. We are looking for a leader who brings hot leads, an active book of business, and deep relationships with shippers who are ready to move freight today.
What the role actually looks like:
- Converting Hot Leads: Bringing immediate contract freight, dedicated lanes, and enterprise enterprise opportunities into our 60-truck network.
- Maximizing the Asset Network: Aligning your existing shipper connections with our capacity to ensure high fleet utilization and profitable lanes.
- Commercial Leadership: Taking full ownership of our sales strategy and working hand-in-hand with operations to seamlessly onboard new accounts.
What we need to see from day one:
- An Active Pipeline: Established, trust-based relationships with major freight decision-makers, manufacturers, and shippers across Canada and the US.
- Real Asset-Based Experience: A proven track record of securing freight specifically for asset-based fleets or heavy brokerage environments.
- Local Presence: Based in or able to commute to our Mississauga/GTA offices.
