Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Baker. This role is ideal for someone with experience in baking, and food preparation, but we can also train the right candidate. The Baker will play a vital role in creating delicious baked goods, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing exceptional products to our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Package baked items for retail or wholesale distribution while ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in baking, or food preparation is highly preferred.
- Restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating familiarity with food handling and safety standards.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in food packaging and presentation is a plus.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
