Summary
We are seeking a Cleaner/General Laborer to join our team at Peerless Electric Co. LTD. The focus of the work (primary responsibility) is cleaning. Located in Cornwall, ON, this role is essential in supporting our production processes and maintaining our facilities. As a Cleaner, you will contribute to our mission of delivering superior lighting solutions while ensuring a clean, safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- (75%) Perform cleaning, washing, dusting, garbage collection and maintenance tasks to ensure facilities (offices, bathrooms, all factory areas) are clean and operational.
- Assist in the assembly and production of lighting products using hand and power tools.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Experience cleaning & disinfecting homes and offices.
- Experience with power tools and hand tools is essential.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance is an asset.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or labor-intensive role is preferred.
