JOB TYPE: Full-Time Immediate.
HOURS: 8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday or 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday - Friday
PAY RANGE: $22-$24/hour – wage may vary depending on experience. Paid benefits offered after probationary period. RRSP matching program and Bi-Annual profit share bonus structure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily plating operations including masking requirements
- Maintain a log of all plating
- Perform titrations to maintain bath health
- Jig and tie parts with wire to hang for plating as well as help with un-jigging.
- Assist with inventory on chemicals as required
- Operates and maintains plating equipment, pumps, and associated equipment
- Moving and handing tools & equipment to and from designated areas - must be able to lift upwards of 50 lbs
- Performs daily maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Inspects final product, ensuring conformance to specifications
- Operates forklift &/or overhead crane to transfer parts throughout the shop
- Ensures daily housekeeping is maintained within working area and common areas
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Background and experience with industrial coatings an asset.
- Forklift ticket considered an asset
- Overhead crane certificate considered an asset
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Dependable and reliable
REQUIRED LICENSE
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable Vehicle
