Overview
We are seeking a Part Time Fur Tailor to join our creative team. This role involves the craft of fur repairs and customizing furs to meet client specifications, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, excellent customer service skills, and basic math abilities to assist with measurements and calculations. Duties
- Measure and cut fur materials accurately according to design specifications
- Sew and assemble furs with precision, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal
- Customize furs based on client requests and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively to understand needs and provide excellent customer service
- Keep track of inventory levels of fur materials and supplies
Skills
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and pattern adjustments
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Creativity and an eye for design to produce visually appealing furs
- Prior experience in sewing or tailoring is a MUST, additional training will be provided
