Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Autobody Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with experience working in dealership settings preferred. Duties
- Perform collision repairs, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and refinishing
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify necessary repairs and estimate parts and labor needs
- Repair or replace damaged body parts while maintaining manufacturer specifications
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality control guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete repairs promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Autobody Mechanic or similar role; dealership experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Prior experience with automotive repair, collision repair, or bodywork preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
