Known for exceptional cocktails, a spectacular waterfront patio and memorable guest experiences, we're seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen - a culinary professional who shares our pride in quality, creativity, and team culture - a passionate culinary leader ready to lead a strong team in one of Eastern Ontario’s most loved dining destinations.
About the Role
The Head Chef will be responsible for:
- Leading and inspiring a strong kitchen team
- Designing and executing innovative menus
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Managing food and labour costs, inventory, and supplier relationships
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborating with ownership on events, features, and culinary programming
- Building a positive, accountable, high-performance kitchen culture
The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of progressive culinary experience (with leadership experience required)
- Strong background in high-volume, scratch kitchens
- Proven cost control and kitchen management skills
- Creative mindset with a passion for inspired cuisine
- Calm, decisive leadership style
- Red Seal certification (preferred but not required)
- A love of hospitality and community
