About the Role
Are you handy with a drill, precise with a tape measure, and looking to build a career in high-end craftsmanship? We are looking for a Junior Cabinet Installer to join our installation team.
In this role, you won’t just be "carrying boxes." You will work directly under a Lead Installer to learn the art of precision cabinetry, from scribing fillers to leveling boxes on uneven floors. We provide the mentorship; you provide the hustle and the eye for detail.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with Load-In: Safely transport cabinets and materials from the delivery truck to the job site.
- Site Prep: Protect floors and walls, and help layout the installation according to blueprints.
- Assembly & Install: Help mount wall and base cabinets, ensuring everything is level, plumb, and square.
- Hardware & Trim: Install hinges, handles, drawer pulls, and basic molding/trim work.
- Clean Up: Maintain a "white glove" job site by vacuuming debris and wiping down finished products.
What We’re Looking For
- Tool Savvy: Basic experience with power tools (impact drivers, miter saws, levels) is a huge plus.
- Math Skills: You can read a tape measure down to the 1/16th
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet throughout the day.
- Reliability: You show up on time, every time, with a positive attitude.
- Valid Driver’s License: Required for traveling between job sites.
Bonus Points If...
- You have previous experience in finish carpentry or construction.
- You know how to read architectural blueprints or shop drawings.
- You own your own basic hand tools
