Schedule
- Full Time
- Monday to Thursday: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
- Alternate Saturday (closed long-weekends and Summer Saturdays): 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
What You'll Be Doing
As an important part of our clinical team, you'll help patients improve not only their oral health but their overall health through education and comprehensive preventive care.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional hygiene care with a patient first approach
- Building lasting relationships with patients and families
- Performing comprehensive periodontal assessments
- Scaling, root planing and periodontal maintenance
- Digital radiographs
- Patient education and preventive treatment planning
- Airway screenings and education
- Assisting with myofunctional therapy where appropriate
- Laser assisted hygiene procedures
- Zoom Whitening treatments (experience is an asset)
- Collaborating closely with our dentists to provide comprehensive care
- Accurate clinical charting using ClearDent
- Other responsibilities required
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who brings both clinical excellence and positive energy to our team.
You are someone who:
- Has 2+ years of clinical hygiene experience
- Is registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
- Has current CPR certification
- Enjoys educating patients and building trust
- Works well independently while thriving in a collaborative team
- Takes initiative and enjoys continuous learning
- Loves creating a positive patient experience from beginning to end
- Experience with lasers, airway screening, or Zoom Whitening is an asset, but we're happy to help the right candidate continue developing these skills.
