Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight.
Duties
- Operate and drive trucks hauling gravel, log mats and or low bedding at times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Ensure the truck is maintained in good working condition through routine checks and automotive repairs as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic oil field tickets would be an asset.
