Essential Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to prepare layouts, select materials, and plan work activities
- Construct, install, and dismantle traditional and engineered concrete forming systems
- Measure, mark, cut, and assemble materials accurately according to project requirements
- Plan work sequences and methods to complete tasks efficiently and avoid costly errors or rework
- Inspect completed work to ensure it is level, square, plumb, and built to specifications
- Maintain Ledcor’s high standards for safety, quality, and productivity
- Complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and within project timelines
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Carpenter ticket from a recognized provincial training authority, OR
- Apprentice Carpenter (Levels 3–4) registered with a recognized provincial training authority, OR
- Minimum 4 years of carpentry experience for non-ticketed carpenters
- Experience with concrete forming and engineered forming systems
- Must be able to provide government-issued photo identification
- Successfully complete all required project orientations
Work Conditions
- Work schedule: 10 days on, 4 days off
- Extended health benefits provided through CLAC
- Weekly payment of wages
- No camp accommodation or travel allowance provided
- Ideal for candidates residing in the Greater Edmonton region
