Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Flight Instructor Class 3 to join our aviation training team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive flight instruction, ensuring safety standards, and fostering a positive learning environment for aspiring pilots. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and a thorough understanding of aircraft operations and navigation systems. Fluency in multiple languages including English, French, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, or other languages is highly desirable to support our diverse student base. The Flight Instructor Class 3 will play a vital role in guiding students through their flight training journey while maintaining high safety and customer service standards.
Duties
- Deliver professional flight instruction to students across various skill levels, focusing on safety, navigation, and aircraft handling.
- Develop customized training plans tailored to individual student needs and progress.
- Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
- Ensure all flights comply with regulatory safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain detailed records of training sessions, flight logs, and student progress reports.
- Supervise ground operations related to flight training activities.
- Assist in organizing training schedules and coordinating with other instructors and staff members.
- Demonstrate proficiency in aircraft systems, including mechanical knowledge and GIS technology applications.
- Support customer service efforts by creating a welcoming environment for students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, utilizing multilingual skills when applicable.
- Uphold organizational standards by supervising junior instructors or trainees as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Flight Instructor Class 3 certification with relevant flying experience.
- Mechanical knowledge related to aircraft systems and navigation tools such as GIS is preferred.
- Multilingual abilities including fluency in English; proficiency in French, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish or other languages is a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with supervising experience preferred.
- Solid math skills for navigation calculations and flight planning.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff members or trainees.
