THE BC WILDLIFE PARK HAS TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE
FOR A PART TIME FACILITIES LABORER/GROUNDS KEEPER
THIS POSITION WILL REPORT TO THE FACILITIES SUPERVISOR
POSITION WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
- Assist the Facilities Department in Building maintenance
- Assist the Facilities Department in Grounds keeping
- Assist in setup of Special Event and displays
- Assist with the daily duties related to Facilities operations
- Other duties as directed by Facilities Supervisor
POSITION START DATE: ASAP
RATE OF PAY AND BENEFITS: $17.85 per hour plus 11% in lieu of benefits.
(Position is a union position: CUPE Local 900)
WORK SCHEDULE
Up to 40 hours/week including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
FURTHER CRITERIA FOR APPLICANT
- Must be able to follow direction well
- Be able to work well in a group or on your own
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Must provide a Criminal Records Check
- Have reliable transportation
- Valid BC Drivers Licence and submit a drivers abstract
