Toronto Kia is looking for a motivated Automotive Technician or Year 2 Apprentice to join our busy service department. You'll work alongside experienced technicians in a well-equipped, OEM-supported shop — servicing and repairing the full Kia lineup from routine maintenance to diagnostics.

Duties:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
Skills/Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or completed Year 2 of an Ontario apprenticeship (310S), or holds a valid technician certification
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Experience with ADP/CDK is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Clean driving record & Valid Ontario G driver's licence in good standing
- Fast, eager learner and team player
- Previous dealership or shop experience is an asset
