Let's Get Moving is hiring Part-Time / On-Call Movers to support our crews during busy periods in Burlington, St. Catharines, and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for students, tradespeople, warehouse workers, landscapers, athletes, or anyone looking to supplement their income with flexible work.
Please note: This is an on-call position. Hours are based on customer bookings and are not guaranteed each week.
Job Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport household and commercial furniture safely.
- Wrap and protect customers' belongings.
- Lift and carry furniture, appliances, and boxes with a team.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Follow company procedures and safety standards.
- Assist with truck organization and equipment when required.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence.
- Must have your own transportation to job sites.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50–100 lbs safely with a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
Previous experience in moving, warehouse, construction, landscaping, delivery, or general labour is an asset but not required. Paid training is provided.
Schedule
This is a flexible, on-call position.
- No guaranteed weekly hours.
- Shifts are offered based on customer demand.
- Typical shifts range from 3–10 hours, with occasional longer days during peak season.
- Morning start times (typically 7:00–9:00 AM).
- Weekday and weekend availability is an asset.
- Applicants available on short notice will receive priority for shifts.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage: $20–$25/hour (based on experience).
