The Biologics Manufacturing Center (BMC) Inc. is a new biomanufacturing facility created in response to the pandemic. A not-for-profit organization, the BMC aims to better meet the biopharmaceutical needs of Canadians. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant who will help ensure the efficiency of administrative processes related to facilities and people. This is a part-time position at three (3) days per week.
The Administrative Assistant will have the following responsibilities:

Draft, format, review, and translate documents, letters, and presentations;

Organize and publish pages, files, and documents on the intranet and internal screens;

Manage the purchasing and inventory of office supplies;
-
Ensure the cleanliness of common areas and the stocking of meeting and break rooms;

Manage centralized email inboxes as well as physical mail;
-
Participate in organizing on-site client visits, including access management and logistics;
-
Schedule and coordinate internal meetings;
-
Coordinate the production and publication of public calendars;
-
Act as the primary resource for employees regarding the use of certain office equipment and internal applications;

Manage and archive documents;
-
Participate in other administrative processes as required by organizational needs.

You have at least five (5) years of relevant experience in an administrative support role;

You have an advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as an intermediate knowledge of Excel;

You quickly learn to use and leverage computer systems or technological tools, such as translation or collaboration tools;

You have an advanced level of proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, enabling you to draft professional documents, review automated translations, and communicate with French- or English-speaking stakeholders.

The BMC, a key player in Canadian biotech production
The BMC is a new facility in the heart of Montreal, completed in June 2021. It supports the growth of the country's biologics production capacity, ensuring that vaccines and other related products can be manufactured safely, right here at home. Thanks to its state-of-the-art facilities and the knowledge of its team, the BMC can produce biopharmaceutical products such as viral vector, protein subunit and virus-like particle vaccines, as well as other biological products.
