Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Aesthetician/Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our clinic in Fourth Avenue Medical Aesthetics. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer experiences on reception while being an overflow medical aesthetician supporting our aesthetic services. The role will primarily be as a medical receptionist with an overflow Aesthetician Role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the clinic.
- Manage appointment scheduling and front desk operations.
- Provide information about aesthetic treatments and products.
- Support retail sales through effective communication and upselling.
- Assist with aesthetic services.
- Ensure guest comfort and address client inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or front desk roles within the beauty or healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols relevant to aesthetic treatments.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to promote products effectively through upselling.
- Basic understanding of aesthetic procedures such as facials, morpheus 8, dermaplanning, medical grade skin care etc.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
- Promote retail sales of skincare products and other beauty items to enhance client experiences.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitized before and after use to maintain hygiene standards.
Cleaning of the clinic, opening and closing
- Build strong relationships with guests by providing personalized services and follow-up care recommendations.
Requirements
- Valid aesthetician license or certification as required by provincial regulations.
- Proven experience in customer service within the beauty or wellness industry.
- Strong skills in aesthetic treatments, facials, laser and morpheus 8
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Experience in front desk operations is a plus, along with knowledge of retail sales techniques.
- A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to Tuesday to Friday and every other Monday and Saturday... 3 evenings a week required and one weekend every other week (Sat)
