Job Summary:
J&K Devitt Services Inc. is looking for a licensed, detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician
(310S) to join our growing service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain
passenger vehicles and light trucks. You will work with modern diagnostic equipment in our shop
ensuring high-quality repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
● Diagnostics: Use computerized diagnostic equipment and testing tools to isolate, identify, and
troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
● Maintenance: Perform routine and scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups
● Repairs: Adjust, repair, or replace automotive parts and systems, including fuel, braking,
steering, suspension, engine, and climate control
● Documentation: Record accurate findings, document parts used, and complete work orders
according to shop standards
● Customer Service: Communicate mechanical issues and required services clearly to service
advisors or customers, and advise on future repair needs
● Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, hazardous waste disposal guidelines, and
Ministry of Transportation (MTO) standards
● Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough Ontario safety inspections and prepare detailed digital
vehicle inspection (DVI) reports
● Shop Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to all provincial
health and safety regulations
Requirements & Qualifications:
● Valid Ontario 310S Certificate of Qualification
● Valid Class G Driver's License
● Your own professional-grade tools
● Strong technical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
● Experience: Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a licensed technician is preferred.
