Job Summary
We are seeking a junior Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating acrylic components and assemblies using various tools and techniques, ensuring precision and quality in all work.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
- Cut, drill, bend, and shape acrylic materials to precise specifications.
- Use glue to bond, cement, and assemble acrylic parts, ensuring seamless and bubble-free joints.
- Polish edges to a high-quality finish, including grinding or buffing.
- Setup and operate machinery such as table saws and drill presses or other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to cut, shape, and assemble materials accurately.
- Measure materials with calipers and perform basic math calculations to ensure precise fabrication dimensions.
- Support assembly processes by fitting components together according to schematics and technical instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of fabrication processes and materials.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and use of hand tools and power tools.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
