Job Description: As a Delivery Driver in the interior doors and trim industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products reach our customers safely and on time. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading interior doors, trim pieces, and related materials to various job sites and customer locations.
Responsibilities:
· Safely operate company vehicles (typically trucks or vans) to deliver interior doors, trim, and related products to designated locations.
· Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
· Verify delivery instructions and ensure accurate product quantities are loaded and delivered.
· Maintain delivery logs, records of vehicle maintenance, and daily inspection reports.
· Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers at delivery locations.
· Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a safe driving experience for yourself and others.
Requirements:
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
· Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
· Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure timely deliveries.
· Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
· Knowledge of local routes and geographical area is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with handling interior doors, trim, or similar building materials.
· Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and ability to perform minor repairs.
