StretchLab North Shore is open and we are adding to our Flexologist team!
As a Flexologist, you will provide one-on-one assisted stretches for our guests and members. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness and wellness industry by storm.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minute)
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
- Develop and manage customized, 12+ week flexibility programs
- Accurately document sessions in studio software (SOAP)
- Ensure safety of clients with proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
- Handle member concerns when applicable
- Assist sales associates and studio Manager membership sales
- Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele
- Help with maintaining strong social media presence to client membership and retention
- Clean and maintain work area and studio cleanliness
Open Studio availability: consistency is key and we're looking for candidates who can commit a set schedule of:
- 20 to 30+ hours/week
- 6 to 7-hour shifts on a consistent weekly basis (8am to 2pm or 1pm to 8pm)
- 2 Saturday shifts/month required (9am to 4pm)

You find it extremely rewarding to help clients benefit from stretching – whether it is to achieve a new PR or enjoy a more active lifestyle. You're a capable and confident communicator and look forward to engaging conversation with guests and members. Qualifications:
- Kinesiologist (BCAK preferred)
- Athletic Therapist (CATA preferred)
- Certified Fitness Professionals (personal trainers, physiotherapy assistants, yoga instructors, BFA Dance Instructors)
- 1-2 Years of one-on-one, hands-on experience working in a fitness/health environment
- Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
- Capable and confidently leading engaging conversations throughout the session
- Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals
- Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
- Attention to detail
Training and Timing
- Must be available to complete the 2-day in-person Flexologist Training Program (1 weekend in mid/late June)
- Complete 15 hours of self-paced online pre-training prior FTP
