Maqabim Distributors LTD is a leading cannabis accessory and vaping distributor. We are a best in class distributor of accessories and are strictly B2B. We are looking to add an Account Manager to our growing team. Offering over 5,000 premium and high in demand products, Maq has a product for every type of Cannabis Store, Vape Shop and Convenience Store.
Here at Maqabim Distributors Ltd., we are always looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our Canadian Sales team. Our Account Manager role will be joining an already established group of AM’s and will be tasked with growing their assigned accounts as well as chasing down new leads across the Canadian market.

Responsibilities
- Sell to and manage accounts over the phone, through email and in person
- Manage all assigned accounts and establish Maq as a first-choice partner with new and existing customers
- Create brand awareness
- Seek new opportunities to increase brand exposure and volume
- Identify new distribution opportunities and build partnerships that maximize profitable share and volume through distribution, visibility and service
- Execute marketing initiatives and leverage them into consumer loyalty and sales
- Effectively manage given accounts, ensuring all administration records and information is up to date
- Effectively lead industry and brand education sessions with key stakeholders
- Achieve KPI targets on new customers, overall sales and other metrics
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain meaningful and valuable relationships that are favorable in supporting the annual operating plan
- Build and develop relationships with managers and staff at each assigned retail location
- Find unique opportunities to promote Maq's portfolio of brands within the confines of the regulations
- Planning/Self-Management
- Execute annual plan and commitments
- Manage own time including building effective weekly/monthly schedules
- Maintain and accurately track annual sales and consumer budgets on time
- Effectively manage a budget to drive volume and share growth within acceptable trade practices, according to brand strategy and merchandising guidelines.
- Execute all programs within established guidelines
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager in planning sales activities and setting sales goals for assigned accounts
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Past Vape and Cannabis B2B experience or knowledge is an asset
- An insatiable curiosity of what makes customers tick and the ability to turn that curiosity into sales opportunities to drive Maq Distributor's and our customers business
- Prefer 5 years experience in Sales, Account Management, Category Management or Trade Marketing role, or other comparable experience
- Proven track record in achieving sales quotes and in-store condition KPI’s
- Previous success in growing brand awareness, within a given territory, using outside of the box thinking
- Previous experience being a Brand Manager will be an asset
- A technologically savvy individual who is comfortable working in a data driven environment
- Experience in Beverage Alcohol, Cannabis, or related CPG industry an asset
