The Opportunity
We are seeking a Part-Time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to complement our team at our Oshawa Ultrasound Clinic, located at 550 Bond Street West, Oshawa.

Compensation:
Above-the-average market wages. And additional compensation will be provided for extra cases undertaken.
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and informative briefings to patients regarding scheduled ultrasound procedures.
- Conduct various studies within the General Ultrasound modality, encompassing Ob/Gyn (including NT and TV), abdomen, pelvic, transrectal, breast, small parts, and MSK.
- Prepare, review, and submit post-study electronic worksheets utilizing Velox PACS.
- Maintain the ultrasound equipment in good standing and monitor the level of medical supplies
- Maintain the reprocessing room.
- Participate in team meetings
- Occasionally train newly hired technicians
Requirements:
- Active membership in CMRITO.
- Active membership in Sonography Canada or ARDMS.
- NT certificate is an asset.
- Great customer service
Preferred Requirements:
- Familiarity with the Samsung ultrasound devices.
- Knowledge of Velox Imaging PACS.
- Proficiency in using electronic worksheets.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $37.00-$43.00 per hour
