Job Title: Finance Intern – Short Term Assignment
Reports to: Financial Controller
Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Join our team as a contract Finance Intern at DHL Group! As a Finance Intern, you'll have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience and learn from seasoned professionals in the field. This internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of financial practices and help you develop essential skills for your future career.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Finance team with account reconciliations and financial data validation.

Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports and spreadsheets.

Review and organize financial documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Assist with data entry, invoice processing, and expense tracking activities.

Support month-end close activities and reporting requirements.

Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies for follow-up.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies.

Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to support operational and financial objectives.
Skills / Requirements:

Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is considered an asset.
Pay Transparency:
Salary Range: CAD $17.60/hr
