AZ Truck Driver – Ontario to Quebec Lanes
Job Summary
Our client is seeking experienced and reliable AZ Truck Drivers to join our growing team. Drivers will be responsible for transporting freight on dedicated Ontario–Quebec routes while maintaining a high standard of safety, professionalism and customer service.
Compensation
- $0.54 per mile
- Additional $0.02 per mile Safety Bonus
- Competitive mileage-based pay structure
Schedule & Home Time
- Average of 3–4 trips per week
- Dedicated Ontario–Quebec lanes
- Drivers can expect approximately one overnight stay away from home per trip, depending on operational requirements and customer schedules
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer in compliance with all provincial and federal regulations
- Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight
- Maintain accurate logs and transportation documentation
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario AZ Driver's License
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Minimum driving experience as required by company standards
- Strong knowledge of Ontario and Quebec highway routes and regulations
- Excellent safety record and commitment to safe driving practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
