Position: Data Engineer - Adobe/Analytics

This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire a Data Engineer.
Summary:
We are looking for a Data Engineer within the Client's Digital Platform team. You will play a central role in building and maintaining the data collection, event schema, and analytics pipeline infrastructure that powers measurement, optimization, and personalization capabilities across Client's public-facing digital websites.
Working within an Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service environment, you will help deliver reliable, scalable, and governed data solutions across both Adobe and Google Analytics platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain client-side data layer architectures using Adobe Client Data Layer (ACDL) or Google Client Data Layer (GCDL) patterns, ensuring consistent, reliable, and governance-aligned data capture across AEM-powered websites
- Configure and manage Adobe Experience Platform Tags, Google Tag Manager, and related rules, triggers, and data elements for accurate digital data capture
- Build and maintain AEP datasets, XDM schemas, GA4 event models, and reporting-ready data structures for downstream analytics and activation use cases
- Enable and support Adobe Target, A4T, and Google-side experimentation tracking to improve optimization and performance measurement
- Develop analytics-ready data pipelines and transformation logic to support reporting, attribution, experimentation, and audience insights
- Partner with digital analytics, product, engineering, and privacy teams to improve data quality, governance, and implementation consistency across the platform
Qualifications & Skills :
- Experience in data engineering, digital analytics engineering, or marketing technology implementation within large enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform Tags, Google Tag Manager, and client-side data layer implementation
- Hands-on experience with XDM schemas, AEP datasets, GA4 event design, and digital data collection frameworks
- Experience supporting Adobe Target, A4T, and cross-platform experimentation or reporting integrations
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience working with web applications, tag logic, and event-driven data collection
- Experience building data pipelines for analytics, reporting, and optimization use cases with a strong focus on data quality, security, and governance
