Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Services Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Full time opportunity could come available after term.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services and responding to inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
- Assist guests with information and directions or recommendations for local attractions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Process payments and maintain cash drawer accuracy
- Maintain records and balance daily transactions during shift and Audit.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Skytouch, guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting is advantageous.
- Proficient in using phone systems and hotel management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
