Job description
- Oversee daily operations at Multiple sites in Kelowna, Vernon and other surrounding sites.
- Manage staffing schedules, training and performance reviews.
- Support frontline staff during busy times, emergencies or shortages.
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
- Assist with preparing, completing and submitting action plans; implement customer service standards; resolve problems; complete site audits and identify trends.
- Implement & enforce policies and procedures, safety protocols and procedures; develop processes for security equipment/tools utilization and handling; and inventory management.
- Analyze and Improve operations department’s process and workflow.
- Accomplish operations and organization’s mission by completing related tasks as needed
- Manage relationships with clients.
- Communicate all operating policies and/or issues to guards and at department meetings
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Must be proactive and able to take initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures.
- Ability to work with confidential and classified information.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in security operations, social services or a related field.
- Experience working with Vulnerable populations.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Hands on leader comfortable working in the field with the team.
- Ability to traverse various areas of the facility to conduct inspections and plan security procedures.
