About JamFit
JamFit Energy Studio is a high-energy movement and fitness facility focused on helping children build confidence, coordination, strength, and a love for movement through fun and engaging programs. Our Manotick location offers jamnastics, camps, ninja programs, fitness classes, and specialized recreational programming in a supportive community environment.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Gymnastics Coach to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Gymnastics Coach will lead recreational jamnastics classes for children of various ages and skill levels while creating a safe, positive, and motivating environment. Coaches are expected to bring energy, patience, leadership, and strong communication skills to every class.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise jamnastics classes, camps, and special programs
- Teach fundamental gymnastics skills safely and effectively
- Create engaging lesson plans and obstacle circuits
- Ensure athlete safety at all times
- Provide positive encouragement and constructive feedback to participants
- Assist with class setup and equipment organization
- Maintain a clean and organized training environment
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Support special events, camps, and birthday parties when needed
- Help foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all athletes
Qualifications
- Experience coaching gymnastics, cheer, or dance preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Energetic, positive, and team-oriented personality
- Comfortable working with children of all ages and abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset
- NCCP or gymnastics certifications are considered an asset but are not required
Schedule
- Evening and weekend availability preferred
- Part-time and seasonal opportunities available
- Additional hours may be available through camps and events

Experience:
- gymnastics coaching: 1 year (required)
- cheer coaching: 1 year (preferred)
