Victoria Trauma Therapy Centre is seeking to grow our team and hire an independent contractor who is a Master’s level Registered Social Worker (RSW) or a Master’s level Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). You must be registered with the BC College of Social Workers or the BCACC.
About Us:
We are a collective of BC Registered Social Workers and Registered Clinical Counsellors providing online trauma therapy to individuals, couples and families. We are based in Victoria, BC and serve clients virtually across the province. As a trauma therapy practice, we specialize in neuroscience informed modalities such as somatic therapy, polyvagal theory, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and other trauma-informed approaches.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counselling Psychology (RCC) or Master’s degree in Social Work (RSW) – Registered in British Columbia
- Training in EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Polyvagal theory, Gottman therapy for couples, Internal Family Systems
Requirements:
- Commitment to virtual or hybrid work
- Have a quiet home space with a stable internet connection
- Hold professional liability insurance, as per your college requirements
- Remain registered in good standing with the BC College of Social Workers or the BCACC
