Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and personable Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in hair styling and grooming, along with excellent customer service abilities. This role involves providing high-quality haircuts, beard grooming and shaping, and grooming services while creating a welcoming environment for clients. .
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional haircuts, trims, beard trims, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in accordance with health and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items and grooming accessories to enhance client experience
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out procedures, and payment system
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
- Stay updated on the latest hair styling trends and techniques to offer innovative services
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barber with a strong portfolio of hair styling work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a grooming environment
- Ability to upsell retail products tactfully to enhance client experience and business revenue
- Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred
- A valid barber license or certification as required by local regulations
