Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Restaurant Servers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in food service and familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing excellent guest services throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems like Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and timely communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards and safety protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required
